Every year at this time we go through it. And this year it's Little Tujunga. Last year it was Latigo.
I couldn't believe how foul the air was this morning out where I live in Topanga. Even if the wind was mild, I wouldn't go out for a ride in that air.

Right now the wind is gusting to 50-60 mph up here. Got my emergency bag ready. Bike will be the last thing to go in the car.

Take good care out there everyone.

I rode up to the top of Mnt. Lukens (5,070 ft.) with my brother yesterday morning and it looked like they just about had it all out. We watched the two super scoopers and all the other planes and helicopters doing drops and it looked like it was almost all out. There was very little smoke rising when we headed back down at around 10:30 a.m. At about 7:00 a.m. there was alot of smoke.

Don't count Malibu out yet, they get a burn or two every year.
