Hi,
Over the summer I had done a lot of touring, after finding out about CX I realized that my bike (short of a few simple modifications) would be great for CX. Now I am looking to find a race. I live in Northern Westchester, NY and from the looks of it on the USA Cycling site, most of the races seem to be a minimum hour away and most 2+ hours drive from where I live. Does anyone know any of any CX races more locally, or any websites/threads where could look? I am also looking for recommendations on any single track trails that my CX bike could handle in Northern Westchester (for most of the places that I could think of I would need a full out mountain bike). Thanks in advance!
