Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I like to loop out to there, but you'll be hard-pressed to find riders on this board.
You have a bike shop that sponsors randos and all that stuff. They're well recommended as a LD riders' dream. It's over by the Whataburger by the park or something such. But I haven't played there, yet

Have only done a couple events in Casa Grande; sort of stuck between 2 bigger cities; but roads sure are a lot quieter!

the roads are quieter, yes, but that means less cyclists, Im always scared of being hit in the small bike lanes around here by some early morning drunk..hah

My in-laws bought a winter house in Casa Grande and my wife and I were out there over Thanksgiving. I shipped a couple of our bikes there and I ended up needing to go to the bike shop to get some supplies. The owner was really nice and let me throw my bike on one of his work stands and use his tools to make some minor adjustments. Anyway, he told me about a group that meets on Sunday mornings by the Starbucks at the Safeway on Cottonwood and Trekkel (at least I think that's where the Safeway is...). He said there's a fast group and a less fast group that take off at the same time. Of course, that was at like 6:30am... :o That's a bit early for me and the heat around Thanksgiving certainly didn't require a dawn start time. We ended up doing our own ride out Pinal, circling that mountainy-thing up north and then back. It was a nice ride and when I got home to the rain, I even had a nice sunburn... :)
