Maybe I should be more specific and say "question for Dahon owners familiar with both pre-2005 and post-2005 models. My question is this, do you find the post-2005 handlepost to be better? Obviously you lose the ability to use any other forks or headsets, but is it a better design?

Actually my 2006 Piccolo's stem has given me some headaches. My 2003 Boardwalk's stem and handlebars are far more stronger and stable.

Hi,
Soprry for Hacking the thread here but I also have a question regarding older Dahon. I have a second hand boardwalk (picture below) and the frame latch safety hook just came off. I am trying to determine the year before starting to inquire for a replacement part. Could anybody help.

Personally, i find the new handle post to be way better, specially the on the Mu SL, and other similar high end models
