Would upgrading my brake calipers be worthwhile? Currently I have whatever the stock trek ones are.. (they don't say a group name on them anywhere...though the rest of the bike is 105) Would say ultegra ones provide better braking, or are they just lighter?

Thanks..

105 w/Kool Stop pads would be the better deal...

I agree. A change in brake pads will be far less expensive and get you a little better braking. The small amount of weight saving with Ultegra will net you no extra braking power.

Try pads first. Koolstop or ritchey
