Hey you East Bay folk, I'm heading over to Berkeley today. Anyone feel like bombing around town?

Man I wish I could join you. You should try the 49 mile circumnavigation of S.F. via the 49 Mile drive. It takes you thru all of the various areas of the city. some of the streets are rather car heavy but you can usually find a parallel street to use. I used to ride from Potrero Hill over to the Haight and back to a coffee house gig I had back in 1967-68 and would come home at 2:00 am, when I got off. Man, the fun of riding through the Fillmore district at 2 in the morning made for some exciting times. This was on a Frejus Track bike, with no brakes. Ah! Youth, how fleeting.

hmm...on second thought, maybe i'll just stay in...;)

i'm only really afraid of the psuedo-hippies, (they can't be killed, you know)which, probably...come into the art store....a lot. *sigh* if only i actually lived in SF, then i could be a courier and everything would be lovely!

not that i know your situation or anything, but that sounds like a reachable goal. even living in the EB, you could still courier here in the city.

i definitely think it's logistically feasible...

i had a desk job in Boston a while back, and i quit it to courier. it was freaking awesome. but then i blew my knees out on a fixed trek to the Cape. my friend tells me that i'm the only person he knows that "reached, and lost, life's goal at age 23."

anyway, since you're jobless anywaze, i don't see any other option but to courier...
