Hi, I'm considering a Terry Classic as a loaded touring bike. I'm wondering if anybody here has any personal experience with this bike. The flat bar is not a concern for me, and neither are 650c wheels as I need a larger frame with 2 700c wheels. I'm mainly concerned about durability. Thanks. Barbara

Why dont you seek out a frame using 26" MTB wheels. This is a far more sensible option than 650c for loaded touring. You will be able to fit proper touring tyres, and obtains spares at any bike shop. The size difference is marginal, and they work very well in small frames.
Check out Thorn at sjscycles.com for some ieas.

It's only the small sizes that have 650c front wheel. Anything 20.5 inches or bigger has 2 700c wheels. Anybody out there have experience with the Terry Classic and loaded touring?
