1) Solar may already be competitive with coal if anyone would dare factor in the environmental costs (for cleanup...) by this rock. For example, do you know that sports fishermen in the US are considered a risk group for mercury poisoning. Yes, they are often exposed to very high levels of mercury contamination due, we suspect, to eating their own catches. The source of this contamination: in large part, our friend coal.

2) This web site reads like a press release. It does sounds interesting and I wish them well, but it does have the bitter flavor of PR.
