I was wondering if anyone knew sizing of the aero seatposts on Giant bicycles. I know that they run in sizes like "#2" and "#4", but are lower numbers smaller or larger in size than greater numbers? Also, if anyone has actual sizing (as in cm, etc.) that would be great, also!

Incase you're not sure, here is an example of the post I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3666522737&category=58101

Thanks,

Here you go (http://www.giantbicycles.com/us/050.000.000/050.600.100.asp?sPageID=050.600.100)

About the middle of the page for seatposts, but this is the entire sizing philosophy.

Yeah...but that only tells me about the combinations you can make with a Giant bike. I don't have a Giant bike, so that really doesn't apply. I'd like to know the individual lengths of the seatposts.

Thanks, though. From that, I can see that #1 is the smallest, and #7 is the largest. That's half my answer!

Nevermind. I just found what I was looking for after a LOT of searching: http://www.bikeshop.uk.com/tcr.htm

I'm planning to put an aero seatpost on a Fuji Track Pro that I'm building up to be a specialty pursuit bike.

Cool...I guess the seatpost will work?

If not, try one of these (http://www.performancebike.com/shop/large_photo.cfm?SKU=14883&Store=Bike)

BTW...any thoughts on the situation with Genevieve Jeanson? I found it a bit suprising that she moved to Arizona and was able to get a USA license. But with the random no advance notice testing, and out of season testing, if she WAS on EPO, it will show in her racing results now. The impression I had was she was under suspension by the Quebec Cycling Federation until this was cleared up. She had a chance last year and did not supply the necessary information. Now she will be racing in the US.

Nothing like six hours in the peloton when everybody thinks you are riding dirty.
