I want to get the word out about the alley cat race I am organizing in Columbia, South Carolina. I have barrels from Harvest Hope Food Bank (http://www.harvesthope.org/)at Cycle Center and Outspokin (the two bike shops on Harden and Devine Street, respectively) for food donations, which will also be used in the race. Entrance fees and all other monitary donations will also go to Harvest Hope. The race will take place on November 15th at 1:00 at the USC law school fountain. If you plan on racing, you will need a lock, a pen, a large bag, and a $5 entry fee.
First prize is a messenger bag by Timbuk2 (who were very helpful and generous)
