The weather is getting really nice just in time for a Sakura Cycling Trip! This one is scheduled for Saturday, April 3rd.
The destination for this trip is Shinrin Koen, but also riding through Sakura Tei Koen along the way.
There will be 3 distance levels of participation available for this ride, while still keeping the same course as well as the same destination:
A Group: Starts at the Arakawa Cycling Road at Hwy. 463, goes up 25km and meets Group B at Tobainuma, rides together for 2km to Sakura Tei Koen, then continues on 17km to Shinrin Koen. Total distance round trip: 88km.
B Group: Starts at the Arakawa Cycling Road at Tobainuma and meets Group A there, rides together for 2km to Sakura Tei Koen, then continues at a comfortable pace 17km to Shinrin Koen. Total distance one way: 38km.
Super Group A: Starts from wherever you live, rides to the Arakawa Cycling Road at Hwy. 463, then rides together with Group A. Total distance round trip from Higashi Kurume: 120km.
As for times, B Group will plan on meeting A Group and Super A Group at Tobainuma at 10am. A Group will plan on meeting Super A Group Arakawa Cycling Road at Hwy. 463 at 8:45am. Super A Group from Higashi Kurume will plan on meeting at Rupo Cafe on Shiki Kaido at 8am.
In the coming week, I'll send out another email with more details. In the mean time, please invite any of your friends that might enjoy one of the levels of participation. The sakura should be pretty awesome.
