I am interested in a new road bike to begin racing? I have looked at both of these bikes. Does anyone have any suggestions on comparing the two? Thanks

Either should suit you fine, make sure you ride them. If you're starting to race you might want to start with a slightly cheaper bike (maybe with better wheels) as accidents do happen especially in Cat 5 insanity.
