What's your favorite, and why?

I saw some show on Food Network where they made fried burgers. I tried it at home to see what the buzz was about. THE BEST near stroke experience I've ever had.

Wings! Sometimes they just call to me. Possibly more addictive than the beer that often follows.

Bacon is the best.
Chicken wings, if made right are a close second.

Deep fried. It's probably the most unhealthy thing I have ever eaten outside of a battered and deep fried oreo cookie.

because the question was about meat.

of the choices, i would specify sausage - but only if it's venison.

What, no kangaroo? I was in England last December, and a group of us went to a Mexican restaurant. Granted it was the English version of Mexican, where chips = curly fries. There was a kangaroo dish on the menu and all of us were too scared to try it.

There's no venison, fresh lake perch, moose, or elk on that there list.

I think he said all those choices were too healthy.

You'd need to batter and deep fry them in tallow in order to qualify.

Most Mexican restaurants around here aren't even very Mexican. It's hard to imagine what a place in the UK would be like.

As for my favorite animal product, I probably like rabbit best, although nearly anything can taste great if prepared right.

Agree. I love bacon - in the morning, at lunch as a BLT sandwich with soup, and dinner when it's breakfast. Chicken wings, with beer, are also great.

I went to a really great restaurant in DC at noon and saw the menu had a 1 lb BLT. I ordered it and it turned out the 1 lb was the weight after cooking!

1. Porterhouse
2. Bacon with a Tude! (meaning a good thick, schmokey slab-o-bacon)

I seem to eat less and less of beef and pork lately, and chicken as well - but when I do eat well - I go for the gusto.

As is what is planned for the weekend - cleaning for the ex this weekend, who is a self admitted "slobbish" kinda guy, with no food in the house - a long haired manx cat that puts the fear of Gawd in to ya when he looks at ya (cool cat though) and who has most likely laid about 5 lbs of fur around just the 1st floor of the house - on and the ex has been on a huge busy role with work (they do 100% of election materials for NYS) and so I'm sure he's coming off a couple of 60 hr work weeks --- meaning ...

a sty.

And no food.

I was given free reign at the grocery store tomorrow night to get the ingredients for something good to eat (cool). He just got a crockpot and so I think I shall use it for a Saturday meal.

However EH - I'm steering away from bacon. :)

You should try a deep fried Mars bar, then.;)

A decent sausage is good. Particularly if made of venison. Bacon is all good too. The rest of the list; meh.

I've tried kangeroo and it was very nice.

I chose bacon from the list. Good bacon is truly fine, and enhances other meats also. ;)

Although I go through phases where i love buffalo wings, and lately I can be easily tempted by the butter-garlic wings at a local pizza place.

I have to assume that we can eat terribly as long as we ride regularly? right? right?!!? That's the only justification I have for my morning pig habit.

"Sausage" covers a lot of territory. Some is truly horrible, while other sausage is truly wonderful. I went with sausage, based on the good stuff.

Nothin mentioned yet sounds bad. I have had a Llama burger in Chile and it had the texture of sawdust, not enough fat. I like good for you food but every now and then I get naughty and have something deep fried, like a turkey. Turkey the best meat on the planet. (Earth)

Throw some sausage on the smoker. Then wrap whole peeled onions in aluminum foil and throw on the back of the smoker till the onions get nice and soft. Nothing better than sausage and onions...and beer.

Churrasca is so far above anything we have in the states, nothing we have here deserves to be on the same list with it.
