I locked my bike to a railing last night and I can't release it.It's a black D ,lock.I've tried spraying it with WD4O but that hasn't worked. The key just won't release it.Any tips?

Is the lock turning and its just the U-shape won't come free? Or will the key itself not turn.
If I get a stiff padlock I normally scrap pencil lead (aka graphite) into locking mechanism which frees things up. Getting the graphite to work its way into a stuck mechanism will be a problem though.

Sometimes the U-bar and the lock barrel are a tight fit, and this upsets smooth operation of the mechanism. Try squeezing the U-bar together where it fits into the barrel whilst trying to turn the key.
Good luck,
Ed
I have had my lock stick a few times after rain and bad weather. I now put a bit of chain lube in it to keep it from sticking. When it stuck I usually just kept smashing it against whatever it was locked to until it came free.
Can you figure out if it is just stuck together or just broken?
