Would a seatpost with setback be bad for a frame in terms of putting more pressure in the back of the seattube and make it stretch over time at a greater rate then a straight tube? Would i be better off getting a longer stem? When i ride i find that its more comfortable with by butt at the very bad edge of the saddle. So thats why im thinking of getting a seatpost with setback. THanks

A seatpost with offset will give you a more comfortable riding position and as long as you have a reasonable amount of post inside the frame there is no danger of stretching or denting or whatever.

You have everything to gain and nothing to loose... so go for it.

Thanks. probably going to get the thomson with setback. A bit more pricey but i heard its worth it.
