No, I did stop to snap the pic though I did not want to! It's hard starting but I really wanted that pic so I had to. I've done it several times. Today I thought I was going to puke at the top cause it was 90 degrees out. But I really wanted to ride my bike!:p

I need to try something like that, except I live in Iowa, so we mostly have little hills where I live.
Looks like a lot of fun!!!!!

But a GREAT accomplishment. I love having something like to kick my *****, but then when I finish I have reached a goal and that feel great also. I love working hard, but I have to ride 10 miles to get to a tough hill, then another 5 to the next one.

I have a 4 mile climb (4% grade) to get to the steep section in the pic. Form the steep section to the ranger station (face pic), it's ALL uphill!:D
Ride home is easy though!:p

This was an accomplishment, 114 miles with 12,000 feet of climbing. I like the smell of the pine trees! I'm the pumpkin dude!:thumb:

If we ever end up in California when the wife decides to do the traveling nursing, I will have to look you up.

Sometimes I actually miss living ion Southern Cali. Not often, but sometimes.
I do love hills when I'm done climbing them. Other than that I pretty much hate them, lol.

I like the hills, because I get to see my heart rate increase, and also at the same time understand that my body can handle it now. Going from 360 down to 235 and still have 40 - 50 pounds to go make me look for these hills as something to accomplish. It is nice to have the physical change, but I also like the mental change in me as well.
I used to live in the Pass area. I loved Sylvan Park as a kid.

The Beanz comes through with more great pic's. Good job man, I always look for your post's when I'm on here. One of these days I'll be more consistent in bringing the digital along, and do the same. Until then, we live vicariously through you.
