What is funny is a tech head like me loves carrying a good old paper map instead when on my bike, go figure.

Try this (http://www.kirainet.com/english/up300/), you can get one for about the same as an Iphone, but with the added distraction of trying to watch a "50 inch big screen" in just one eye, while riding down the street. The souped up version lets you switch tracks and adjust the volume hands free too.
