HI,
I went by the Gymn and they had one of these machines on Trial and man after 48min I was sweating like a PIG and really felt thoses Butt muscles.
Pretty Neat it feels like a bike almost spongy like when you press down not like other elipitical machines .
I tried the hill program.

When I am at the gym- I leave the cross trainer till last on my sequence of exercises. I enjoy it so much that If I went on it first- I would stay on it. And if it takes you 48 minutes to sweat like a pig on this- Then work harder.

I do 10 minute sessions on each machine of Recumbent- Rower- Cycle- Ski and then The cross trainer. It is the cross trainer that gives me more exercise and weight loss than any of the others.

Cross training is a good thing and that machine looks like something out of the Spanish Inquisition.

Started back on a running program and hope to do a 1/2 marathon in Feb.

I like to mix things up a bit so I run, swim and do endurance exercises (high reps lower weight) one month then switch over to strength building the next month (heavier weights less reps). I always punish my abs each session and always end my workout routine with hyper extensions done slowly.

Cross training is good, but you know I sweat like a pig too when I don't have the 15+ mph breeze cooling me down from a ride.
