yahoo! thanks to greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) and rockmonkey's script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/30414), my iGoogle is now free of the stupid home tab (note the triangle on left of screen - it toggles the sidebar on/off):
