Can someone direct me to a suspension seatpost that is 30.6mm? I don't really like the idea of shims. Maybe nobody makes one? I certainly haven't been able to turn one up.

I am (about) 100% certain you will need to go the shim route, sorry.

Rev Chuck is 100% right. But the shims work just fine, so don't fret.

All shims aren't created equal. I'd recommend resisting a "fits-all" two part or coil stock shim and get a one piece shim that has been machined to match the outside your seatpost and the inside of your seat tube.

I am having trouble locating such an animal. Anyone have a link? So since my current seat tube is 30.6mm I need a shim that is 30.6 and has an inside diameter equivelant to the diameter of the Suspension seatpost diameter?

30.6 isn't the most common seat tube id. I had a special shim made for me by the people who sell Moxie suspension seat posts. It's been several years, but I seem to remember it costing about $15.00.

Dosent RockShox sell the correct shim?
