awww thats exciting! My dad had one he was restoring, as a young kid I grew up playing all kinds of imaginary games in it. They are pretty neat!
He never did get it running 100%... he'd moved it along with job transfers from IL to CA, UT... and when my family mad the move to MN it got sold. :(

This one runs great, drives great, and is unrestored. No new paint job or anything. Probably new seats, but nothing else.

That's wild. Look at all that freakin' headroom.
Supposedly one of the reasons men stopped wearing hats was because car designs got so low and streamlined in the 50s that it was a pita to remove your hat every time you got in to drive.
