Great Lakes - RaysMTB thread

So I decided to start the thread that will be all about Rays. Post your pics, stories, gtg's, etc. here.

I plan on going Tuesday October 21st at 5pm. Anyone care to join? It'd be nice to have a few bf'ers there.

I'm probably not going to do a ton of Ray's this winter, not like I did last year. Maybe once I go, I'll get back into it.

And Tuesdays used to be my days for Ray's.

Well I was there for CAMBA night on Friday and the place is about thirty % new or realigned. The new pump track is awesomly fast and the new additions to the intermidate section are nice. I'm not 100% behind someof the expert changes, the drops seem to low to make them challenge (last year I couldn't do the highest one and this year I did them all the first night and the roll in for the red bull section is way to fast, you hit that first berm a hyper speed!!

Had the hardest slam of my life that night too, so the full face helmet has all ready paid for itself. My neck is real sore but at least my face is intacted!! Short story, I slid out on a berm and flipped the bike which threw me face first into a quarter pipe. OOOWWWWWW!

I will start going to Ray's after the weather here turns bad. I get bored of the place after a few visits so I would hate for that to happen even before the snow flies...

Same, I don't really have a burly MTB, so I borrow my buddies 24" BMX, and it can get tough to do some of the stuff there.

I am going to be sore tomorrow. Used a lot of different muscles than im used to. Did work my way up to the pro jump line after about 15 minutes. Love the new VIP room, and the new pump track is pretty cool.

What time did you go? I didn't think they opened till 5:00pm and it's only just past 7:00 now.....

I went right at 5. Was there for 1.5 hours. And of course, we all know I check BF before getting in the shower or anything.
