Cycling is about the only sport I have left. I bashed up my knees years ago (basketball, for the most part) and cycling is a great way to go, especially if ya use low gears like I do. I plan on doing another world tour in my mid sixties.

I have two goals in life:

1. Live to be 100
2. Ride 100 miles on my 100th birthday.

Only 60 years to go. Can't wait!

I keep seeing cyclists who, if you see them on their bikes look about 25. Then you see them close up and you realize they're at least 50!

Hey, I resemble that remark! :) My bike is a mere 45 years old, however.

As an older (60) cyclist, I appreciated the article.

My number one reason for cycling: I love it. The fitness and health benefits are ancillary.

It's all about the ride.
