I recently acquired a barely used Brooks Team Professional "S" saddle. Same 170mm width as a B-17, but much narrower in the nose. Just the thing for those of us with thick thighs.

Found it so comfortable I bid on and won another one on eBay last week. Both with very low miles at what I think were bargain prices. I won this beauty (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280274852143&ssPageName=ADME:B:BCA:US:1123) for $68 while the same seller got $78.77 for a fairly rough Men's Team Pro.

BTW Good seller. I won it Monday nite, rode it Thursday before noon.

Yeah, the narrow nose on the 'Team Pros' were made for aggressive riding positions, where the bars are lower than seat height. In that position, your pelvis is rotated more than on a B-17 and the narrow nose helps eliminate any thigh contact.

I have the 'Team Pro' on my classic bike and its the best saddle I ever owned.

I thought the "S" usually notes a women's saddle with a shorter overall length.

The S is shorter and wider. The B17 S is 177X245 and the B17 is 170X280. I've been looking for one for my daughter's Peugeot.
