I'm not a big sports fan, but I'm glad to see my old home team going to the world series. :)

Of course the cynical side of me thinks its awfully convenient as they are talking about a new stadium this last year.

Heh- we didn't need a World Series or a Superbowl to get our two new stadia. But that's how it works in Philly...:p And yeah, we're glad the Rays are in it too:thumb:

people are going nuts in town... big rally and party at the Pier (downtown St. Pete) tonight... Rays t-shirts and 'Rayhawk's are all over the place!

<sigh>... i really liked it when i could get the $8 seats above home plate at the Trop and not have to pay for parking....

but, yep - Go Rays!
