Classic & Vintage - Anyone want to join a craigslist "exchange club"

anybody ever thought of doing a Craigslist exchange club??

I.E. everyone signs up for a city, then people that are in the "club" can get another club member to get a bike for them, and ship it..

for example, Im in Treasure Coast Florida, some good deals on bikes, just nothing I want..

This bike is great but fits a big rider ..

It has a 25" frame size so 5'9 & over recommended.
complete with 27" wheels.. and 33" standover height..

I was going to put on new tires and handlebar tape and keep it but it's way too big for me.

The chain and gears show in near new condition.

This bike typically goes for $200 - $300 and up in the market..
for good to very good condition which I would rate this bike.
So clean it shine it and enjoy it.. and when you're done you can get most if not all of your money back.. Don't forget to check out the R-1 Racing Seat..

Fuji bike with Alex rims and Shimano hardware.
"Finest" model Sport Series.
Purchased new from bike shop about three years ago.
Ridden 800 - 1,000 miles.
Measures 30 9/16 inches from the top of the bar to the ground with the bike standing straight up. Bike states "56cm to top".

I think you have to approach this more on a case-by-case basis. You do a search on Google for "Raleigh Professional craigslist" (and hope you don't get too many personals for NC!), find something you think you might want, then post here to see if anyone in seller's area would help you out with vetting/pickup/shipping. I've offered a few times to help if anyone's interested in a NYC CL bike (one was a Colgago Arabesque), when I've posted them to the eBay/CL thread here.

Cool idea in theory, but the craigslist price + the shipping to get it wherever the person wanting it is makes good deals not so good anymore.
