Hi I am new here and mostly ride to train for cross country running and motocross racing but have also done a few sprint triathalons. I currently ride a mid 80's Fuji Ace, I like the bike but I know it could be better. What would be some cheap upgrades I could do to it to get the most bang for my buck. I was thinking about maybe some new bull horn bars and maybe some cheap clip on aero bars. Would those be worth it or would my money be better spent in better components. Thanks for any help.

Before you change anything, you should figure out what year bike you have. Fuji made the Ace from 1974 thru 1976 and it was one of their top bikes. Fuji then made an Ace model in 1989 and 1990 and the name had moved down their line.

Locate the serial number and go here for more info.
