Bicycle Mechanics - where can I get a threadless stem with lots of rise?

Hello all,
I require a threadless stem which gives the most rise possible and has a short as possible length. I want to keep the weight down so I am trying to avoid the use of bar ends etc. The steerer i have is steel and is one inch. Can anyone tell me what brand/model and where I could get such a stem?
Thanks :)

Get a Dimension stem from any bikeshop, $30 and just about any rise/length

I have an Axiom stem. I don,t know how they compute angles, but it has a reach of 9 cm and a 45 degrees angle. It gives an effective reach and raise of 5 cm.
If you want shorter reach than that, I would suggest you get a stem extender and that you attach your stem on top of it.

For an ultracomfy no-reach, 180-degree stem, why don't you superglue the handlebars onto the top of an uncut 2-foot fork steer column? I'm sure you could miter the top of the steerer tube to fit the curve of the handlebars. Now that you've eliminated the weight of a heavy stem, you've got an ultra light speed machine. Good luck and happy chopping!
