Hey all,
Come on down in your craziest costumes and have a good ol time racing AND supporting the much loved Bike Kitchen! There was some confusion in another thread over the info so here is verbatim what the flyer says...
"Trickster Treat Halloween Benefit (The Loin)
Friday October 31st
6:30 PM @ City Hall
Proceeds Donated to the Bike Kitchen
$5 Entry Any Bikes Welcome
Considerable Points Awarded for Costumes"
I can attest to that last part, my roomate last year had the One Eyed, One Horned Flying Purple People Eater costume and won. So yeah, you're going to have to go all out to win the costume prize! Scored some Nitto Bullhorns. The winner got a KHS pursuit frame IIRC. Not that the prizes matter so much, but it may be motivation for someone who is on the fence about the whole thing. It's going to be a blast! I'll be on a red Trek 460 huffing up the hills!
