Hi,

Today I purchased a flashing rear light called a "Sparky". For anyone after a very intense, affordable flasher, I can recommend this one. It doesn't use leds, but more of a camera flash globe I think. It seems to charge up and then pulse out a very bright flash. There's three globes, so you don't have to wait for each one to 'charge'.

I don't know what it's called elsewhere in the world.

Also, I picked up my front light today. It's a Vistalight 5watt. Does anyone have any bad experiences with those? Thanks.

Nick.

There was a recent discussion about the Sparky (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=45882) last month.

Oops! I should have searched first. I was just very happy with the results.
