Foo - Happiness Thread

A thread like this didn't pop up when i used the search function.

In this thread you can write about anything that made you happy. For instance, say you got a new bike, you could post that here.

I'm happy because I'm breathing. Because I'm healthy. Because I have a family that is bonded by love. Because I have loyal friends who I will always stand by. Because I have the best boss and a decent job. Because I was blessed by the company of my four legged family members. Because there is food on the table and a bike between my legs.

I'm happy because I am.

My best friend, both male and female are awesome humans. The female one is also my interest of love.

what has made me happy tonight? talking to my nyguy adn having him tell me that he wants me to stay with him when i come up there on my road trip. :) :love: :)

hm tonite I am happy about ... the fact my big red cat is hanging with me more than the rest of the house ... and the fact that I located another set of mtb tires I want to buy. Ohh and my old fart red betta fish (it's over 6 yrs old!!) - thought it was going to go this past weekend as it had n ENLARGED eye when I left on Friday night - and the EYE is now kinda back in place and all looks well in Betta world as he's eating and .... uh-k - he's doing OKAY!

Right now, few things are making me happy:

- I rediscovered trance music and I'm listening to di.com
- I'm getting a new house soon, I like the change
- Thinking about how to setup a killer home network on the new home (I like that)
- I've organized my office recently and it looks so pro now... I like order

I'm generally happy most of the time. I own my own house (well long term rent off the bank), have a good, interesting job, am reasonably fit and have a choice of bikes to ride. I have some good friends and am on very good terms with the owner of my LBS.:D I live in a medium sized city where I can go from a nice beach to some lovely walks in the bush in a couple of hours.

I prefer the Treehug method of stopping when going downhill on hikes to the ground hug method...:p

Well, I got a stable over clock on my computer last night. 3.9ghz baby!!! WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTT. I'm gonna give it a few days before I try pushing it over the 4 ghz mark.

this morning? hmmm, knowing that it's only 2.5 days before i am in WNC for some great riding!

Enjoying a great meal w/ my old lady.
Playing w/ my kids.
Riding pristine singletrack.
Commuting through a light, warm rain.
Chatting on the deck w/ my best friend and a case of Yuengling lager.
A three day weekend.
Nice smells.
Watching hummingbirds eat.

Tomorow is ROPSAA cross country day. Im pretty siked. Our team is great. If we get top 2 in teams, we get to go to OFSAA, which is Provincial, as ROPSAA is regional.

When I smile, I feel happy.

Happy now because:
I've ridden my bike everyday this week so far.
I'll (probably) be changing jobs soon.
My divorce will be final soon.
My two dogs are great.

Will make me happy later:
I'll buy a tandem, and meet a stoker.
Not be a fat guy anymore.

Is that enough? I'm a simple guy.
