I just bought a Dahon Jack but am struggling with the final stage of the assembly. I'm not sure how to connect the brakes to the front wheel. The assembly guide says:
Finally push the two arms of the brake together and slot the metal section of the cable into the mount provided.
However, the metal section of the cable is too thick to fit into the mount! Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks.

Thats a regular v brake .... you have a noodle which ends in an alloy "bomb" with the brakecable exiting in the center.... On the other side you have a squre carrier with a hole and a slot in the middle.... You push booth brake arms close to the rim.... than you slide the brake cable into the carrier of the other arm ...pull the bomb back a little and than slide the bomb into the carrier ... voila
However this is VERY basic I mean VERY ... you really should bring the bike to your freindly dealer and have him explain this and to let him look the bike over as well....

If you don't get a proper predelivery inspection and setup done for your bike, you'll probably be back here soon with problems.

I did get a PDI done. But I ordered from a bike shop in London (which is 200 miles from where I live). In order to fit it into the box they had to take one of the wheels off. Are there any videos online showing how this is done? If not, I'll have to take it to a local bike shop.

Around 1:35 in this video you can see what needs to be done.
