No no, not like that...
I've been following (somewhat) the guidelines on timetrialtraining.co.uk, been really starting to ramp up my training for next season's track/road race/time trial season, and I've recently been noticing that during my trainer time in the morning (I ride a Cycleops fluid 2 in the morning for around 40 minutes) recently, that I barely even scrape 170 heart rate, when my max heart rate is around 190-195ish on climbs/in group rides (It varies)... My max on the trainer recently (as of about 2 or 3 weeks ago was 185...
It's not like I'm not pushing myself, as my legs are really burning out, but it feels like I should be able to pedal harder more...
Am I not giving enough time in between? Riding the trainer almost every day? Is it because I'm too tired in the morning? I get around 7 hours of sleep a night.... I eat decently, I've been going to the gym every other day for stretching/leg press/squats/free weights...
Is it psychological? It's just frustrating. :(
