Greetings all. I'm generally a roadie, but this off season I was thinking about getting a hardtail and riding some mtb trails, but I'm totally unaware of any groups etc. that do them around here and so is the cycling club I'm in. Does anyone have any advice at all ? Thanks

I suggest you offer to lead a weekly fat tire ride for the cycling group your in. Make yourself the beginning.
There should alway be an alternative to just road biking in any community!

There's a few of us that ride here pretty regularly. I'd definitely consider some lights though as the days are getting shorter. Give me a shout and we'll head up to Frankfort sometime.
