It might look like a crash,....but there is actually a 50 foot sink hole on the other side of the teeter. I was perfecting the long roll tucker, with a full twist to flat.

The expression is great on the guy in the back.

It's allright doug! I was a little too big to ride the "Big wheels" in a seated position when they came out.
You "clued" me in on the kneeling position. I was rocking the IH Pedal tractor in my First Downhill event, in 1966 on the banks of Cedar creek in Olathe Kansas. Split my lip open on the steel steering wheel, when I hit the botton of the bank. Kansas downhilling has always been short, but intense.

I'm loving the riding up here, but it's way different from what I'm used to in Nor Cal. I'm still running clips, need to go pick up a set of platforms :D

Both are of me riding on a trip in colorado. The lowest one is at a small skate park.

Where in CO?

The skate park is in lake city, and the trail is just out side (around 10 miles I think). We go out every year and do hiking, jeeping, and camping. This is the first year that we've done any mountain biking (My dad rode the alpine loop like 8 years ago). The trail was like 1/2 miles out side of our campsite. 5 miles up, 5 miles down. (I only made it to 2.5 due to not being used to the air and lack of time)

Very cool, I was going to say it looked like Breck but then i remembered that mt. towns all look the same.

So in many ways. They all have that feel. I love lake city because it has a population of like 800. And if you can get past all the texans (I have nothing against them, but there are alot of them) its great. Lots of jeeping and all on the Alpine loop.

That's a mad drop for a cross bike, then again, I've never heard of a broken cross-check.

Just manualled off. It was at a wheelie drop clinic the local club was putting on. I go to the clinics whenever I can, mostly just to help demonstrate. They will spend hours talking about how to do an obstical unless someone mounts up a rides it a few times so everyone can get their confidence up. If I can ride it on a "road" bike, the guys with squishy rigs have no excuse.;) I have dropped off stuff twice that high on the trails. I don't recomend it, but it hasn't broke yet, just have to keep the tires aired up good to avoid pinch flats.
