My wife got a C 50 a few days ago, Campy Chorus, Campy wheels, Deda carbon bars, speedplay zeros, fizik vitesse saddle. Sammy's hooked her up on a last years model. She's going in to have the stem cut down tonight. She had a trek wsd with 650 wheels, she said it's like riding a cadillac now.

Yep, she's a newbie, but getting better everyday. We're working on the position. The biggest B***H is I had to save 5 yrs to get mine!

Just out of curiosity, why should the price of the bike effect the setup?
Shouldn't the riding position fit the rider, not some standard set by anonymous internet posters?
Given that Colnago's tend to come in more sizes than a lot of "bargain" bikes, there's a (good) argument to be made that beginners should look to their lines, first.
Don't be a tool.

way to take good care of the Mrs! That's a sweet set-up, for sure! And a real nice upgrade, she'll be flying in no time at all.

Yes, he did show. We only got 28 in, I was wanting to do more, but in hindsight that was plenty...now...back to some C50's ....NICE
colnajoe's is a nice rig. I am sure his wife's is just as nice. Chorus or Centaur though...:(

He (she) better go with the chorus. I know him too well, its eatting him alive inside to "settle" for centaur. He'll have Chorus on it soon, if not already
