Look what I just made for dinner:

It's a hamburger with two grilled cheese sandwiches for a bun. Washed it down with a nice cold beer.

Did you run out of Krispy Kreme donuts to use for the bun and had to make do with grilled cheese?

I wondered if someone might bring up the "luther burger".

Are you sure you cooked that burger long enough? Are you sure it's even a burger? Kind of looks like a bunch of earthworms on the right side. At least the lettuce is fresh.
It's cooked just right. You're actually looking at the middle of the patty. A piece of it kinda broke off so I just jammed it back in there.

Get rid of the lettuce and tomato, replace it with Bacon and sausage and you'll be on to something.

Why are the top and bottom sandwiches facing opposite directions? Is this a "grilled cheese 69 burger"??

Seriously, I cant believe you didnt put bacon on that. It's like building a 100 story skyscraper and forgetting to install elevators.
All hail the creation of Descending Food, the food that keeps on giving.

reminds me of:
You know what’d be good on this burger? A ham sandwich. Instead of a bun, let’s use two donuts. That way we can have it for breakfast. Look out McGriddle-here comes the donut-ham-hamburger!
Seriously, I cant believe you didnt put bacon on that. It's like building a 100 story skyscraper and forgetting to install elevators.
yep
I am kinda hoping that it's there and we can't see it because he used small pieces or something.
really dissapointing

where's the bacon?
edit: OK I see I am far from alone on that question. I am thinking bacon grilled-cheeses for the bun would be more elegant than just slapping it on top of the patty.

Is there a tofu version of that sandwich?

I suppose it could.
But then i'd have to work fast.
It'd be like getting brain freeze and a heart attack at the same time.

Using a good donut dont enter into it. Krispy Kremes are gut bombs and therefore perfect!

You gotta admit, though, that's the best kind of sandwich by a substantial margin. :D

G--D---, that looks good!
It doesn't need to be a heart attack sandwich, as long as the ground meat is lean, the toasted cheese is made with fat free slices, and the toast is greased with olive oil instead of butter. Odds are in your favor if you make it at home.

Is that considered haute cuisine in Utah?

That has got to be the prettiest grilled cheese I've ever seen. You toasted it perfectly.

Take that patty and make it in 2 layers, as well, and slap some Bleu Cheese inside as well as some horseradish. Add in Bacon, and you have a wicked "Heart Attack on a Plate". ;)
