Its a pretty popular old fork. One of the more 'famous' ones on the shore. If you are getting it for a good price it should be fine.

Thats cuz they are all new. The Mr T is a legend from what i hear. And it doesn't give that much travel so it will be fine for your roast.

hmm, these are hard-core type of forks, right? made to be abused?

what do you think that the seller has been doing with them, especially since he is selling them incredibly cheap?

I'd be skeptical...if I was into DJ/hard-core riding of any kind, I wouldn't buy any used parts...

its one of the strongest forks!

Maelstrom

Its got the reputation. Lots of people miss them. Short travel DC fork that was really stiff and could take a beating. There is definately a market for it and that fork, people loved for its strength...

I would pick that up and run it for djing...not that I need it for djing but that would be a great fork for that purpose.

The cost of strength...sorry man you are complaining to the wrong guy about that. 20mm is the best thing that happened to my forks :D

I agree about the 20mm hub, I'll never ride another bike without one.

My bigger concern is what appears to be a pretty deep gouge in one of your stanctions! 2nd picture down. It's hard to tell, but that looks pretty deep!
