The ones that hang down from the trees that is.

These are the only things that scare me apart from snakes.

No, the big squishy ones that eat the tomato plants in your garden. That's the primary reason I refuse to grow my own tomatoes. I can't handle picking the worms off of the vines.

I once got one of the fuzzy ones in my eye on a bike ride through the park.
despite the fact I was wearing glasses at the time.

Do you have banana slugs on the east coast? They're yellow and about 3-4" long. They also fall out of trees onto unsuspecting victims.

I thought I was being considerate. Do you really want a giant photo of a banana slug?

Petaluma used to have the bannana slug festival and they had judges that had to select the best recipie for them. I've eaten living snails but not slugs, uggg.

The only reason the French ate snails is because they were starving and there was nothing else available. Somehow they managed to convince the rest of the world that garden pests were "delicacies". I don't buy it. I won't eat snails no matter how much garlic butter they're swimming in.

That is just wrong. I'm curious - are the caterpillars farm raised or do they harvest them in the wild?

Why are catepillars evil? Go ask Alice. I think she'll know.

I don't know, they just show up and make the wooded areas surrounding the town their ***** for a month. They end up in the town after a week, making every step you take very crunchy.

Same thing happens with shadflies.
