Not by a parent, but by my older brother. My sons have both given and received the pain of the hot wheels track as well. That stuff hurts to get hit with.

That's 40 years ago... meaning that is you were not disiplined with one of those, you must be over 40something years old at least.

A wooden jam spoon was used on my seat of learning. Once one broke.:rolleyes:
I eventually learned; to get my younger sisters to do something so I wouldn't get into as much trouble.;)

nah, they were made for a long time, i am 25 and i have been beaten with one,
i think they are still made actually.
but i lived in the south, i was also forced to get my own switch to be beaten with.

Kids, kids. As Court said, I had to get my own willow switch (almost every day in school) for the teacher and if it wasn't big enough she would get a really big one. Hotwheel tracks are for girlie-men/boys. :)
Not counting the kindling my mom used as tools of discpline. :)
By the way, never try to head off the rabid mother and put rocks is your back pockets to protect your fanny, it won't work. She gets bigger sticks.
