Is there a major difference between these two wheelsets? I have an opportunity to trade my Race Lites and $100 for a set of Race X Lites and both of them have about the same mileage on them, but I don't know if it is worth it or not. :(

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Race Lites and a buddy just got the X-lites. He let me borrow them for a long ride last weekend.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. Performance-wise, there really isn't a huge, earth shattering difference - the X-Lites "feel" a bit smoother and lighter - but aesthetically, the new X-Lites ROCK. They are absolutely gorgeous to look at.

Don't get me wrong, I love my RL's. But for a mere hunge, I'd do it very quickly.

X lites are sweet. What do they say on roadbikereview?

Actually the Race Lights were rated a little higher on road bike review, but a couple of bad reviews by someone can cause that. I decided not to make the trade for a couple reasons, 1 my wheels were made for my bike and look better, but the biggest reason is the stickers are coming off the back wheel and will probably look like crap pretty soon. Both of the wheel sets are a couple years old and I have not had one problem with mine so I think I will save my money.

Thanks for the replies.
