Looks good to me. You may want to remove the visor, due to the lower head position on the road, although visors can be nice in the rain.
The best helmet is the one you can afford and will wear.
welcome, you won't regret the switch :D

I wear the exact same helmet (red and white) on the road and trail. Very good ventalation, and I live and ride in South Carolina, but not the lightest you can find.

I pulled off my visor, I find it blocks your vision when riding anything road / trail unless you are coasting into the driveway at the end of a ride.
Rip the visor off, save yourself the bucks and just ride, unless you are that style concious... ;)

I wear a similar helmet and left the visor on. The reasons are threefold, one as previously mentioned rain. Two is that the visor helps keep bugs from flying into my eyes. Three it helps when you are riding into the sun.
The amount of vision that I have found to have lost by keeping the visor on is negligible compared to the benefits.
I'm strictly a road bike rider and this is my current helmet. I bought it last May and promptly removed the visor.

Well said, sir... ;)
