This is my first post, so to start... Hello to all. From what I have seen lurking in the shadows, I am confident, this group should have some information regarding my question.
I have had for some time an interesting 20" frame that continues to puzzle me. Overall the shape is somewhat reminiscent of a stingray frame. I note the quality and construction is good, Seemingly Quality. The rear dropouts point straight bach, with adjustable tensioners pointing back in the center of the slots. The type of dropout, I have usually associated with older frames, but the real kicker is the badge which reads only "cadillac" the badge itself is chrome or polished aluminum, with a reddish color between/behind the letters. I have no fork, just the frame itself, no components whatsoever.
I found limited info on the subject, but did discover at one time in the 30's or 40's (from what I was told , total hearsay) that cadillac did manufacture a series of 26 inch bikes that came with some models of cars... but my little 20 seems quite the enigma. any info or history anyone is aware of would be very useful.
My apologies for the lengthy post, hope to correspond soon.
