Mountain Biking - First day on my new Binanchi Denali, and I ate dirt.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Not only was this the first day that I bought this bike, but it was the first trail I had gone on. I was up on campus to get a few friends, and then we went back to my house. The trail traverses along side the hill. I had the best bike and brakes out of five bikes, and I am the one to eat crap. Got on the side of the trail, which is about a foot wide, and the dirt gave way, and I went over the handle bars. Elbow is scraped up, face, leg, shoulder, and I ripped a nickle sized piece of skin off of my hand. Overall, I was bleeding quite nicely in eight different places.

But I can still ride and climb, so I am doing good.

BTW, chicks dig scars. I went to wally world, and this hot chick that I kinda know starts talking to me cause my face was scratched. Surprised the hell out of me.

Did the dirt taste good. You always know if you are close to heaven if the dirt tastes decent :D

Wohoo...I did scars on chicks...wow..I really need the summer to get here so I can start riding with girls in armour ...

Don't care about you. How's the bianchi? You haven't scratched the paintwork have you? That colour is almost impossible to match.

I get worried about the chicks if I was you, It not the scars that interest them, it's the sadistic streak in them that just likes blood.

Eatin dirt is a good thing, and as they say: scars are tatoos with better stories. I have many scars from my aggressive in-line days, and more than a few from my MTBing adventures

Don't worry guys, I checked the bike before I checked myself. Not a scratch.

Tried to go riding today, but there is still snow everywere on the trails. I guess I will climb for a week and let the trails dry.
