Hi guys, Im new to this sort of thing and id like to tell you about the bike im restoring.
Its a 1980 mongoose kos kruiser with blue accessories. I bought the bike in 1985 from my local bike shop for maybe $200.00 and now I hear they are worth alot more. So I pulled it out of the shed and started to clean it up. It was in very good condition anyway but it could be better.
It came with: Frame & forks, kos kruiser, suntour mini stem, kos handle bars, ukai rims, comp III gumwall tires, union rat trap pedals, sugino 175mm crank, kashimax seat, tange seat clamp, mongoose s/s seat post, shimano tourney brakes, back only, acs large flange hubs, and a sugino sprocket and spider.
I have since bought nos pads and blue comp III tires but I would really like to get a mongoose gold stem for it. When I have finished the rebuild I will try to put a photo on. This bikes a keeper, I just love it.
