Dekkerfan, the nationality of a cycling team is not based on the team leader. See the UCI's rule book if you are in any doubt. Half of CSC's riders that competed last year in the TdF is Danish, the team is registered in Denmark (see the DCU's homepage), the coach, manager, team mechanic, team docter is Danish. I am currently checking, but I bet you even the bloody team bus driver is from Denmark.
Team CSC's top position in last years TdF was not due to just one persons preformance i.e Tyler Hamilton, but rather due to the preformance of the team as a whole.

Not only that but Basso is no Tyler Hamilton. CSC is a great team and at the end of the year I expect to see them in the top 5-10. The team I see being number one when all is said is Fasso.

KingRene, your sarcasm sadly does not hide your fundemental lack of understanding for the UCI's ranking of teams. Here follows a (somewhat long) piece from the BCF(British Cycling Federation) regarding team SATS. As you will see it is not the UCI ranking of individual team members, that gives Team SATS the number 1 ranking, but rather the preformance of the team AS A WHOLE throughout the last season. That means finishing races/tours with all team members, good overall placements etc.

Get informed first, then try and be smart. :o

Hoohoo! A good job again by the CSC folks at the Criterium International. Jens Voigt took the whole thing, as well as his third TT in a row at CI. Bobby Julich ended up in 4th on the GC. (Go Bobby Julich!)

Neither of those guys are Danish, mind you... But Bjarne Riis sure as hell is. And he's going to end up with a lot of the credit this year.

CSC is on fire. 3 stage race wins already this year.

Thor Hushovd surprised me the most. I knew he could sprint but didn't expect to see him in a break on a final climb.
