Are you in the Omaha area and bored sh!tless? Do you own a bike, know how to ride worth a damn and are looking for an adventure? Well...I may just have the answer.
Spooks on Spokes Scavenger Hunt Ride. Saturday November 1st, 2008.
The event starts at 10:00 AM at Zorinsky Lake near the boat docks. Enter off of 156th & 'F' Street.
The registration fee is $10 for Two-person teams. This is a team event. Must be 19 or older to compete in the full event. 18 and under can join the Kids event. The Bike Way bicycle shop is sponsoring this event so we will have some awesome prizes for the top three finishing teams.
What to expect? Roughly a 3-hour event. Several items to scavenge and tasks to perform. This event is not for the beginner rider. So if you have scetchy bike handling skills then I'd skip this event. Bike, helmet and backpack/messenger bag is a must. Also...bring some cash. Some items might have to be purchased.
Spoke cards awarded to all finishers.
