hello i'm from Montreal quebec and really please to be part of this site. i am actually a proud owner of a 2001 kona lavadome mtb and plan to be a new owner of a road bike this spring . I dont know wich one too choose thats why i'm browsing around... So thanks to help me in my search .. i got around 1000 and 1500 can dollars for the adventure and want as everybody else got the best deal for my buck...

http://velomane.com/ I bought a cyclocross bike here - he built it to meet my needs (low gears so I could get up hills and strong wheels to take my weight). Velo Technique on Notre Dame at Atwater has some nice Brodies in your price range. I use my bike for commuting and Sunday rides with the Club de Velo Ile des Soeurs.

Hi Mark! Lots of nice bikes in that price range, but have you perhaps tried looking in the local CL to check out vintage bikes?
