I'm interested in your opinions about your favorite bike shop in the Kitchener Waterloo area? Is there a market they are not covering or focusing to much on one aspect to much?

hmm... waterloo is kinda deserted :p relatively speaking.
i think is easier to find and buy the bike that you want in Toronto, then move it there.
When my cousins went to study over there, they took along their own bikes.

There are plenty of good bike stores in the KW area. However since I'm from Cambridge, my favourite is Cambridge Cycle.
Never been there but the people at Braun's seem nice over the phone.

unless you're really into supporting big business and paying double the price for brand shinny new components (at shops like braun's or Ziggys), parts that you could get used and still work perfectly fine, there's bike center in downtown kitchener on queen street called "recycle-cycles" which is amazing, and hands down my favorive bike shop/community work space in all of Canada.
i got my concorde americas frame from them about a year ago in perfect condition for around $40.
i strongly suggest you check it out.

Cool. I'll check them out the next time I'm in the area. Thanks for the info.

Imagine the surprize when Ziggy's and Braun's learn they are now considered "big business"!
