Just finished building up the new bike. I looked at many of the tandem trikes Greenspeed, Trice, Wiz-Wheels and Logo. All of them are nice bikes, and as much as I would like I can't buy one of each. :(
Some offered everything I wanted, but had long lead times others just cost far too much. And others are more of a sport model and would not work as well for touring. The Troika from Organic Engines http://www.organicengines.com/ offered everything I wanted,

Take apart frame
Adjustable seats
Disk brakes front
Rear drum brake
Tandem hub spacing (145mm to 160mm)
Short lead time

The rear drum is a must on a tandem if your going to be riding in hilly areas, it can be used to control speeds on long down hills. A disk brake will overheat and fail when used as a drag brake. And using a rim brake will put all the heat into the rim, leading to very ugly things happening to the rear tire

I still need to finish adjusting everything, and build a custom rack so we can carry our bags. Mount the fenders and lights and touring season is almost here...
